Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service

In commemoration of MLK Day CCV students are invited to participate in an annual service event that honors King's legacy through volunteer work. Partnering with the AmeriCorps program and local nonprofits throughout Chittendent County, CCV students choose from a number of opportunities that address the intersecting oppressions present within our community. The day typically concludes with a free community dinner, live music and entertainment.

Observances are planned in other communitites around the state as well, and students are encouraged to participate.
