Persistence & Graduation Rates


The U.S. Department of Education requires all institutions of higher learning to provide information to current and prospective students on the persistence or graduation rates of its first-time, full-time degree-seeking students.Of the first-time, full-time degree-seeking students enrolled in fall 2008, 13% were still enrolled in fall 2011, 13% had graduated, and 24%
had transferred to another institution. For CCV, this group represented 3.75% of the total fall 2008 enrollment. Within the group of first time,
full-time degree students who graduated, 27% were male, 73% were female, and 3% self-identified as a member of a racial or ethnic group. Also, 43% received Pell grants, 17% had a subsidized Stafford Loan and no Pell grant, and 40% had neither.
