Financial Aid and Student Resource Advisor, MontpelierPOSITION: 100% position, 52 weeks per year RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the direction of the financial aid director and regional director: Assist prospective and returning students with the financial aid application process and information regarding types of financial aid. Provide information and advising to prospective students regarding the admissions process. Lead financial aid and college orientation sessions. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent. Good communication and interpersonal skills essential. Experience with adult college students and financial aid very desirable. Ability to manage complex systems and details essential. Computer experience, especially spreadsheet and web based applications, necessary. Must be willing to work collaboratively in a self-managing team environment. Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends, required. COMPENSATION: Within the Vermont State Colleges Grade 11 range, plus approved benefits as described in the VSC Personnel Handbook for Administrators.
