Certificate Programs![]() A certificate program is a group of related courses designed to provide expertise in a particular field. These programs are useful in gaining skills to enter or advance in the job market. While they will not provide an occupational license or assure a job, they will strengthen the background brought to an employer. CCV currently offers certificates in:
Credits earned in a certificate program can also be applied to an associate degree. If you are interested in pursuing a certificate, contact an academic advisor in a local CCV site office. You must have either a high school diploma or a G.E.D. The courses are demanding and require basic academic skills; in addition, some courses have recommended prior learning. Credits from other colleges or from assessed prior learning may be applied to a certificate program if approved by the CCV student records office. However, at least 12 credits of the certificate program must be taken at CCV. Certificate Planning Worksheet (requires Acrobat Reader) Through a partnership with Vermont Technical College, you can also take courses at CCV that prepare you for entry into VTC's Licensed Practical Nurse certificate program. . Through a new agreement with Leading Edge Group, CCV students can now earn certification in Lean Healthcare. |
