Certificate Programs

A certificate program is a group of related courses designed to provide expertise in a particular field. These programs are useful in gaining skills to enter or advance in the job market. While they will not provide an occupational license or assure a job, they will strengthen the background brought to an employer.

CCV currently offers certificates in:

**Program requirements are fully available online.

Credits earned in a certificate program can also be applied to an associate degree. If you are interested in pursuing a certificate, contact an academic advisor in a local CCV site office. You must have either a high school diploma or a G.E.D. The courses are demanding and require basic academic skills; in addition, some courses have recommended prior learning.

Credits from other colleges or from assessed prior learning may be applied to a certificate program if approved by the CCV student records office. However, at least 12 credits of the certificate program must be taken at CCV.

Through a partnership with Vermont Technical College, you can also take courses at CCV that prepare you for entry into VTC's Licensed Practical Nurse certificate program. .

Through a new agreement with Leading Edge Group, CCV students can now earn certification in Lean Healthcare.
