Certification in Lean Healthcare

CCV Offers New Certification for Healthcare Industry

CCV has recently signed an articulation agreement with the Leading Edge Group to offer individuals two options for earning college credit for successful completion of the Lean Green Belt Certification in Healthcare. Through this agreement, individuals working in the healthcare industry who wish to become certified may enroll in CCV's four-credit BUS-2710 course, Special Topics: Lean Health Care I, at the normal cost of CCV tuition. This option is limited to 15 students per semester.

The Lean Healthcare certification is a three-month online program that provides participants with a comprehensive overview of Lean Thinking and its application in healthcare. Using real-world case studies, it outlines and demonstrates the essential lean tools and practices that can be applied within the healthcare industry to decrease costs, increase efficiency and quality of service, and improve customer and employee satisfaction. To attain certification participants must complete the course, a project and a final online exam.
Individuals who successfully complete Lean Green Belt Certification in Healthcare through Leading Edge may choose to request four credits for CCV's BUS-2710 course by paying a transcript fee of $ 300 (USD).
