Academics

CCV is an accredited, open-admissions college, offering a wide range of daytime, evening, weekend and online courses during three semesters -- fall, spring and summer -- at 12 academic centers in Vermont and online through the Center for Online Learning. Classes at CCV are small and highly interactive, with students of all ages and backgrounds, offering you the opportunity to become part of our vibrant, engaged learning community. Most three-credit classes meet once a week for about three hours.

At CCV you can take a single course or enroll in one of our 17 associate degree programs or 11 career certificates. Many students choose CCV so that they can transfer their credits easily to a bachelor's program and save considerably in tuition costs.

Our goal is to make your college experience the best it can be. That’s why we put so much focus on student success. CCV is proud to be a Leader College with Achieving the Dream, a national initiative aimed at helping community college students succeed.

CCV's Catalog lists all CCV course descriptions and degree requirements. The printed Catalog is available at all CCV academic centers.

Search CCV's Course Schedule by subject or location, including online. The schedule gives course descriptions, meeting times and dates for credit courses at all CCV locations and online, as well as non-credit workshops. You can also request a copy of the printed course schedule by mail.
