Hartness Library System

CCV provides 21st-century library services, combining the latest in technology with a high level of service.

The Hartness Library System serves the CCV and Vermont Technical College communities providing in-site and at-home access to resources, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In addition to a large collection of online periodical and eBook collections, faculty, staff and students
can borrow materials from the Hartness Library and other VSC libraries through the online Library Catalog. All of these resources are accessible through the CCV Hartness Library tab on CCV’s portal. VSC Blackboard usernames and passwords are used to borrow books and for off-site access to the periodical databases.

Library Services

Among the services available to CCV students are:

• a toll-free phone number (800-431-0025), chat and email (library@ccv.edu) for reference assistance;
• an online system for home delivery of library materials;
• research guides, handouts and worksheets; and
• access to thousands of full-text articles in more than twenty periodical databases.

Your site Learning Center also provides small reference and reserve collections, friendly and resourceful staff providing basic library support, and computer equipment available for accessing library materials.
