Requesting Your CCV Transcript

Having your CCV transcript sent to other colleges is a simple process. Ask for a transcript request form at any local CCV office, or download the form (requires Acrobat Reader). The form cannot be filed electronically because your signature is required to release the information, but you can mail or fax the form to:

Transferring Credits

Most CCV courses are transferable to other colleges, but each school has its own transfer policies. Whether specific CCV courses meet the requirements of another college is up to the discretion of that college, and not all courses taken may correspond to requirements in a desired major at another college.

Special Transfer Agreements

CCV has agreements with several private colleges in the state that ease the process of transferring credits earned here. In addition, within the Vermont State Colleges (CCV, Castleton, Johnson, Lyndon and Vermont Tech), all courses taken at any of the schools appear on a single transcript and are not treated as transfer credits.

Assessment of Prior Learning Transcripts

Alumni of the APL program should request a separate transcript of those credits using a form which can be downloaded here.
