The Governor’s Career Ready Certificate through the Community College of Vermont![]() CCV in partnership with the Vermont Department of Labor will be offering The Governor’s Career Ready Certificate program throughout the state. Classes are free to participants approved by DOL and meet twice a week for 3 - 4 hours during a 10-week period. View the schedule of upcoming classes. Program DescriptionParticipants are assessed to determine their individual needs for skill building. The skill modules listed below may vary in content and sequence according to those individual needs, and describe sample topics only. Students will learn and practice:
Participants - What’s in it for you?The Governor’s Career Ready Certificate through the Community College of Vermont can help you improve your work skills, enhance your ability to get a job, and raise your confidence in meeting your career goals. We’ll make the best use of your time. You’ll participate in an extensive assessment process that identifies your strengths and weaknesses. Then we’ll help you to improve the specific areas where you need help. You have the chance to receive state and national credentials. Pass all six modules and you’ll receive The Career Ready Certificate. The Community College of Vermont is recognized throughout Vermont as a resource for training and education. Also, depending upon your individual module scores, you may be eligible for specific national certifications, recognized in over 40 states. We will deliver a section near you. The Career Ready Certificate will be delivered in all regions of Vermont. Each class section has available seating for 15 participants and will be offered at convenient locations. So, let us help you
