Coordinator of Academic Services- Arts, Burlington

POSITION: 100% position (52 Weeks per year)
Burlington site

RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the supervision of the Regional Academic Director and in collaboration with colleagues: advise students; coordinate site course offerings in areas to include visual and graphic arts and multimedia communication; recruit and supervise instructors; share in outreach and retention initiatives; participate in a variety of academic and administrative activities.

QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree required. The successful candidate will have excellent verbal, writing, and computing skills. Experience with post-secondary education and advising post-secondary students highly desirable, as is familiarity with graphic and fine arts and multi-media communications. Qualified applicant must be willing to work flexible hours to meet site needs and to work collaboratively in a team environment. Some travel is required.

We are seeking an open-minded and supportive individual who demonstrates qualities of collaboration, critical thinking, initiative, creativity, follow-through, flexibility, and leadership potential. A sense of humor is a much-appreciated plus.

COMPENSATION: Within the Vermont State Colleges Grade 13 range, plus approved benefits as described in the VSC Personnel Handbook for Administrators.
