Degree Program Orientation

All students interested in pursuing a degree must plan to attend a free Degree Program Orientation (DEV-0100) at a CCV site office. Even students who have no immediate plans to seek a degree can gain valuable information about CCV, higher education, and how to select courses so that they can be used toward a degree program at some point in the future.

This session, typically lasting 90 minutes, introduces CCV's associate degree program, concentrations, requirements, and degree planning.

Degree program orientations are offered regularly at all CCV locations. Check with your local office for availability. CCV strongly recommends that you sign up for a DPO soon after you enroll at CCV. A degree plan must be completed and approved by an academic advisor before a student enrolls in a third semester, or by the completion of 18 credits, whichever occurs first.
