A.A. and A.S. Degree Requirements


General Requirements

The A.A. and A.S. degrees strike a dynamic balance between courses in your chosen concentration and liberal arts courses developing essential competencies.

Minimum of 60 college-level credits

Program Requirements:
This is in the core area of your chosen associate degree. You will be able to choose from a list of courses, some of which may also fulfill a general education requirement.

General Education Requirements
These requirements include English Composition and Seminar in Educational Inquiry, as well as courses in the areas of Communication, Global Perspectives & Sustainability, Mathematics, and Scientific Method. A Quantitative Reasoning Assessment is also required for graduation.

Credits applied to the associate degree may come from CCV courses, courses taken at other colleges, or credits earned from experiential learning through the assessment of prior learning course.
