Associate Degrees![]() Accounting (A.S)** The courses required for the programs noted with a ** are available online on a regular basis. About These Degree ProgramsOur Associate of Arts (A.A.) and Associate of Science (A.S.) programs provide the knowledge you need for employment or further study at the bachelor’s level. Usually 24 - 36 credits in the concentration area are required, with general education courses bringing total credits to at least 60. You can also design your own degree concentration, usually using a combination of CCV, transfer, and assessed experiential learning credit. Talk to an advisor if you're interested in this option. Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree programs focus on particular areas of study, often math, science, or technology-based. These degrees commonly require 45 credits in the program concentration, and 15 credits of general education. An A.A.S. degree is widely recognized as a valuable qualification for employment. The programs are available in selected locations - consult with an advisor for more information. You can enroll either full or part-time for most CCV degree programs.
