Using Financial Aid Toward the Cost of Textbooks![]() You are able to charge up to $200 of your textbook expenses against your financial aid. Please note: You must have enough financial aid to first cover your relevant semester (i.e., summer, fall, or spring) tuition and fees. You must purchase your books from EdMap or the UVM bookstore You must have completed a the CCV Authorization & Tuition Agreement Form for the appropriate semester and have submitted it to your site's Financial Aid Office. You must order your textbooks by the textbook ordering deadline. Your approved amount may be less than $200; it depends on your amount of tuition, fees, and financial aid. You will not be approved for more than $200, even if you have more available financial aid. Please note this will reduce any expected financial aid refund. The Process:1.Go to Web Services to review your semester bill and your semester financial aid to be certain you have enough aid to cover both your bill and up to an additional $200 for your textbooks. 2. Have enough financial aid? Visit your site's Financial Aid Office to complete the CCV Authorization & Tuition Agreement Form for the relevant semester and submit it to the Financial Aid Office for approval. When the textbook ordering system is opened, you may then order your books up to the authorized amount, but not to exceed $200. (If your books are over $200, you will need to pay the difference or have another agency/ employer voucher approved.) It may take a few days from the time your form is approved until the approval is logged into the bookstore website. 3. Dont have enough financial aid? Call your site's Financial Aid Office to make an appointment with the financial aid counselor to discuss your bill and financial aid needs. |
