High School Students

Introduction to College Studies

CCV offers a free, non-credit Introduction to College Studies course for high school students each semester. To enroll in this class:

  • 1. Apply online or at your local CCV office
  • 2. Speak with a CCV advisor who will sign you up for the class. Assessments are not required as they will be completed later as part of the ICS class.

Find out more at our new website for high school students.

Visit the ICS page on Facebook.

Taking Courses for Credit

CCV also welcomes high school students who may want to:

  • get a jump-start on earning college credit
  • take a course not offered at their school or
  • try out a college class

You may earn both high school and college credit with a CCV course. Talk with your high school counselor about this possibility.

Tech Prep students have a special option through the Fast Forward program.

Students under the age of 16 need special permission to enroll at CCV. Contact a CCV advisor for more information.
