You will also have the opportunity to take CCV’s required basic skills assessments and meet individually with an academic advisor to have your assessment scores evaluated and discuss potential courses for next semester!

On the Day of your Admissions Appointment…

Please plan to arrive at least 5 minutes early. Check-in at the reception desk located at 119 Pearl St. The receptionist will then direct you to the appropriate room. You do not need to bring anything unless you have previous college credit (in which case, please bring grade reports from all completed courses). Parking is very limited at CCV Burlington. We recommend that you park at the garage attached to the Burlington Town Center Mall, where your first two hours of parking will be free.

If you would like to receive ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) accommodations during the Admissions Appointment or assessments, please contact Nicole leppertn@ccv.vsc.edu 802-865-2459. Please note that for all students, there is no time limit when taking the basic skills assessments. For more information regarding services at CCV for students with disabilities click here.

Information for Transfer Students

If you have taken courses at other colleges and you are applying for financial aid or working toward a degree at CCV, you will be required to have official, unopened transcripts submitted to CCV from each of your previous colleges. These transcripts will then be evaluated for transfer credit at CCV. For more information on this process, click here.

Some or all of the basic skills assessments may be waived for applicants with previous college credit. Students who have successfully completed college-level coursework must supply documentation (such as a transcript) of their courses, grades, and credits to be considered for this waiver. If possible, bring a copy of your college transcript or grade report to your Admission Appointment to be reviewed by an academic advisor.
