Founded in 1970, CCV is an innovative, flexible, open admissions, two-year college offering associate degrees, transfer, occupational, and continuing education opportunities for a diverse population. The non-traditional nature of the college is ideal for new ideas and experimentation in the design and delivery of educational programs.

The College serves approximately 11,000 students annually and is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. With twelve locations across the state, Vermont itself is CCV’s campus, with courses and programs available within 25 miles of 95% of the state’s population and with 20% of enrollment online. CCV’s faculty is community-based and 100% part-time. CCV's central administrative offices are located in Montpelier, Vermont.

The president is appointed by the Vermont State Colleges Board of Trustees and reports to the Chancellor of the system. The president is responsible for management of the college within the policies of the Board of Trustees. Read the full position announcement.
