Introduction to College Studies

Many students enroll in CCV while they’re still in high school and find that they could use some extra skills and strategies to be successful in college. That’s why CCV created Introduction to College Studies, a free, non-credit class that will be offered at all CCV locations next semester.

The class covers such topics as:

• Note and test-taking
• Study and communication skills
• Time and stress management
• Goal setting and organizational skills
• Financial aid
  …and more.

After completing this class, you can apply for a voucher to take another free course—this one for college credit--at CCV or one of the other Vermont State Colleges (Castleton, Johnson, or Lyndon State College, or Vermont Technical College) as long as you are still enrolled in high school.
